Purple is Nice Surprise full of Happy People. Open spaces, outdoor dining, wine and cheese flights, reat people watching of the beautiful people of Kirkland, WA having a great time. And it's resonably priced. Definitely worh multiple return visits. My only citicism - desert looked a lot better than it tasted with whatever that peppery spice was infused through the chocolate.

Fish Cafe: Great Views of Lake Washington and Great Seafood to match the view

Though it's named cafe; it's really a restaurant with upscale prices. Located on the Third Floor overlooking Kirkland Marina, Lake Washington and Seattle Skyline - it's a relaxing view. And the food is very good, which is a nice surprise for a resturant with a veiw. Menu is heavy on Seafood options which you would expect at a place called the Fish Cafe. Side dishes are al a cart. Try the Sea Scallops and Risotto. Appetizer portions are on the skimpy side, so don't expect to share.
