GoSeeTell collects personally identifiable information at several different points on the Site.

2.1 Registration

To simply view this Site, you are not required to register with the Site. However, you use is restricted to solely viewing limited portions of this Site.

To use the full functionality of this Site, and to post comments or reviews on this Site, you must first complete the registration form and create a user name and password. Your user name will be visible on all postings that you make on this Site. During registration, you are required to provide contact information (such as name and email address), as well as demographic information. We use this information to contact you about the services on our Site in which your demographic and interest information may suggest that you would find interesting or useful. Further, we also use the information you provide in developing user profiles and in targeting marketing that will reflect your expressed interests.

2.2 Orders

If you purchase a product or service from us, we request certain personally identifiable information to process your order. Your friend will be able to opt out of receiving additional emails, and instructions in the email will provide the steps that your friend should take to opt out of receiving further communications from the Site. GoSeeTell will store your friend’s email address indefinitely, but will honor your friend’s request to stop receiving email from the Site. Further, your friend may contact us at admin@goseetell.com to request that we remove this information from our database.

2.6 Additional Information Sources

We also may collect information at other points on our Site, including the Newsletter Sign-up page, and feedback forms. All information that you provide is optional from these areas, and you do not have to sign up if you do not want to receive the newsletter or provide feedback.

3. Information Uses

This section discusses more specific uses of the information collected on the Site.

3.1 Communications from the Site

3.1.1 Special Offers and Updates. We will occasionally send you information on products, services, special deals, and promotions. You can opt out of receiving these emails from us on your profile page. Please see the “Choice and Opt-out.”

3.1.2 Newsletters. Upon signing up for an account on our Site, we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. You can opt out of receiving these newsletters from us on your profile page. Please see the “Choice and Opt-out.”

3.1.3 Service-Related Announcements. We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account.

3.2 Welcoming and Customer Service

We will send you a welcoming email to verify your username and password, based on the information that you provide to us. When you call or write to customer service, we collect contact information (name, email or telephone number) as necessary to assist you. For example, if you call for assistance regarding a purchase, we may request your contact and billing information.

3.3 Profile

We store all of the information that we collect through cookies, log files, clear gifs, and/or third party sources to create a “profile” of your preferences. 4.1 Aggregate Information (non-personally identifiable)

We share aggregated demographic information about our user base with our partners and advertisers. Aggregated information is information about more than one individual, where the identity of the individual is not known, and cannot be inferred from the information. Sharing this information permits our advertisers to know whether our Site will permit the advertisers to target their goods and services to a specific demographic (for example, to know whether there are any unmarried, over-40 year old scuba divers in our user base). In such circumstances, we do not link aggregate user data with personally identifiable information.

4.2 Personally identifiable information

We share personally identifiable information with Sites that are owned by GoSeeTell Network, Inc. or its parent companies, subsidiaries or affiliated companies. For example, if you indicate that you are a female traveler, and a Site in the GoSeeTell family of companies caters directly to travelers that like to scuba (“Scuba Site”), we will provide your contact information and profile to the Scuba Site. The Scuba Site then may contact you via email regarding their Site, the offerings on that Site, and information related to scuba diving. This Site allows you to opt out of such sharing on the Profiles page.

Further, we may share your personally identifiable information in the following ways:

4.2.1 Agents. We may use an outside shipping company to fulfill orders, and a credit card processing company to bill you for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.

5. Legal Disclaimer

We reserve the right to disclose personally identifiable information without your consent and without notice to you as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Site.
