Trendy but a little worn; the W's lobby is place to see and be seen; it buzzes with activity morning, afternoon, evening. It's warm atmosphere with the fireplace and comfy sofas; restaurant food is above average; breakfast is excellent; room sizes are on the smaller side - but then it's NYC; for room temperature was too hot
